INGREDIENTS
GLYCERIN
Glycerin is a powerful humectant and moisturizer that pulls water into the outer layer of skin from deeper layers and the air.
AQUA
We use purified water, to help nourishing ingredients absorb into the skin.
POTASSIUM SORBATE
Potassium Sorbate is a preservative. Used to keep our products safe.
POTASSIUM PHOSPAHTE
It’s a little helper ingredient that helps to set the pH of a cosmetic formulation to be just right.
CALCIUM ASCORBATE (Vitamin C)
Calcium ascorbate is considered a stable form of vitamin C and an antioxidant. Its skin-hydrating effect seems to be higher than that of ascorbic acid (vitamin C).
GREEN TEA EXTRACT
Extracted from Green Tea leaves and high in antioxidants, it improves skin moisture and reduces puffiness.
CHAMOMILE FLOWER EXTRACT
Chamomile is a powerful anti-inflammatory agent with antibacterial and antiviral activities. It cleans and moisturizes the skin while soothing irritation.
PYRIDOXIN (VITAMIN B6)
Pyridoxin penetrates through the first skin layers and promotes healthy skin, by reducing its sensitivity to testosterone, as well as by participating in the synthesis of RNA and DNA, which contain the instructions for repair and growth of the epidermis which is affected by acne.
NIACIAMIDE (VITAMIN B3)
Nicotinamide is a water-based vitamin that helps restore cellular energy, repair damaged DNA, and reduce the immunosuppressive effects of sun-induced UV rays. Nicotinamide prevents the transfer of pigment within the skin, which can help reduce brown spots. It also reduces redness, preserves hydration, and improves synthesis of healthy fats.
PANTOTHENIC ACID (VITAMIN B5)
Pantothenic acid penetrates the lower skin layers and imbues water into the cells, retaining moisture deep within the tissue. It helps stimulate cells that boost skin barrier function that prevents trans-dermal water loss and helps wound healing. Pantothenic acid also has an anti-inflammatory effect on UV-induced redness.
CITRIC ACID
Citric Acid has protective antioxidant, and corrective antiaging effects helping to reverse visible signs of photodamage. Citric Acid works by exfoliating the upper layer of dead skin cells to help clean pores, even skin tone and soften and smooth the skin. With natural acidic pH, citric acid is an excellent pH balancer and helps maintain normal skin barrier function.
UREA
Urea is a component of the natural moisturizing factor produced by the skin. Urea is a humectant, which means it is able to absorb moisture from the environment and draw it to the skin. In addition, urea moisturizes by breaking down keratin, which binds skin cells together, essentially removing that rough, top layer to allow moisture to reach deep down.
